DJ Tiesto's remix of the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song. Pretty BA, IMO.

My signature links say it all. BTW Thomas Maupin would be rated about 2700; I’d be about 1200.

I guess if Tiesto's usual isn't your cup of tea, then his remixes probably won't be either.

Don't get me wrong, I like Tiësto's 'usual'. But when Klaus Badelt's "He's a pirate" gets all chopped up (like it is on the PotC2 soundtrack, I don't know about his live performances) it really ceases to be the "He's a pirate" theme.
While it's based on that theme, it becomes something else entirely, something I find rather average. I like his variation on Barber's Adagio a lot better.
I've played both myself now that I think of it.
I prefer the source music in most cases, for instance, I like Mozart's Requiem in D better than the 2003 Sensation anthem (by Rank1?).

Point taken. There's about thirty-45 seconds of the "theme" in Tiesto's, but the rest is mixed.
I was surfing Playlist.com and stumbled upon it. Good site, BTW.

Man, I'm going with Jackson's Alabama Jubilee---its a song---its music ! I dont know what this other stuff is but please tell me it ant music. Some of the music is so loud---even when you turn it down its loud. How do you know they are actually hitting the right note or chords when it is so loud? Even the beautiful, long, legged dolls cant help this music.
Where is Bobbys girlfriend Streisand when you need her?
