Just bought fritz 11 and find that when playing rated games F11 now only plays spanish as white and answers petroff to e4.This is really annoying.Is there any way to force different openings? Does vary in sparring mode. thanks

Just press F4 and you´ll get to the book options. Your book might be "optimal" which means Fritz will use only a small and save reportoire.

Alternatively if you want to practice certain openings, you can create your own opening books, save them and load them into Fritz when playing it.

I mean, there are more than one possible better moves. But I could not find which one will be useful after 4-5 moves.
