New rule for the off-topic section:

This means you must have posted on-topic elsewhere on these forums before you can post something off-topic in this section.

If you are caught posting your first post off-topic anywhere on the forum:
- You will receive a permanent ban.
- Your post/thread will be deleted.

This to prevent (random) spam.

ADDENDUM:

Posting on-topic means posting about chess. Since posting in the introductions section won't really be about chess, they don't count.


Notes:
This is my interpretation of how StuntPope wants things done, in the end, his word is law, but I think he'll agree with me. Also, I've been lenient regarding the 'numbers puzzle' (haven't banned) but if I see that up there again without the poster becoming 'active' in the other sections of the forum, I'll have no other choice.
UPDATE:
After careful consideration, I decided to ban the poster of the 'numbers puzzle'. The poster did not participate in any on-topic chess discussions before posting that puzzle. What's worse, he did it three times. I've cleaned the threads out.
