Hi, Just a quick hello - I've been playing chess since I was a kid, but recently got interested in trying to actually play well. I'm currently playing around 1500 on ICC (under the same handle) so I'm not making too many dumb blunders any more, but I definitely need to learn to play with some sort of purpose rather than just making random moves all the time.
Hopefully will find some advice here on getting better...
