I am new to this forum. I am 20 and live in Lithuania, english was my most disliked lesson in school so sorry for mistakes. Before about 6 years (I was 14) I unfortunately quit my chess club where I was going for about 2 years. Then I hadnt real rating, but when sometimes participated in some tournamens I was writen as 1900 by coach. I knew only that I was "1st category" and the ones with 2000 or above were colled "candidates". Not long ago I decided to play chess again and try to improve. I found this forum by luck and was surprised how active it is.

Don't worry about your english, while it's not perfect it makes sense.

I've had to go through some letters from an russian school for a friend of mine recently. It wasn't pretty and I certainly understood why he gave me the letters to be 'translated' in the first place. They were in (broken) english but written in cyrillic symbols. I can 'read' those symbols (though had it been in russian I wouldn't know what the heck they mean).
At any rate... yours is much better and you're not even a headmaster

Hello zef. Yes many new people have introuduced themselves lately and lots of people talk. unfortunately fromter has been busy lately and he is one of the coolest guys on this forum. If you see him will you say hi? have fun meeting everyone else. I am lance by the way, it is nice to meet you.
