I definitely missed 31...c3! which kept him in the game.

Haha, I hope you're kidding around, in which case, very funny sir.
Anyhow, I'm leaving tomorrow morning for the World Open...wish me luck, folks.

Good luck! Don't look at ratings until after all your games. Less distraction and no fears of losing to a lower rated opponent.
Have fun down there! (or up there)

Hey guys. I ended up with 6/9, just a 0.5 point shy of roughly getting my entry fee back and 1 point shy of winning $1000 or so. I had a pretty nice start with 4.5/6, but lost in round 7 with white when I misplayed the opening and my opponent took advantage. I probably broke roughly even on rating points and it was a great experience. I'm going to be out of town again most of this week, so I'm not sure I'll do a round by round breakdown, but there's definitely a lot of interesting things for me to look at and I'm glad I played.

Haha, I actually gained 2 rating points, just like I did in Chicago. 2207 -> 2209.

Abba, what happened to you? Did you get hit buy a bus? Or is there some recent outbreak of swine flu in Ohio?

He was on this morning, according to his profile. We could certainly use your opening theory knowledge in the TW game.

Haha, sorry guys, I've been busy with a move into a new apartment. I'll have internet back up on Wednesday this week (for now I can only log on at work).
