Ok, I'm curious what other members think of this game. Personally, I was pretty much clueless throughout. Usually, I can see alot of what is happening in a GM's game. (Guess the next move kinda thing. Often we can see the general idea, even if we miss a move or two..) This one?... No idea what was happening. (Other than the obvious tactical shots.)
Thoughts?

Had only time for an extremely brief (think bullet chess) look.. First comments:
Swash-swash-buckle-buckle, made me wonder for a second which century this was again. Added the move list to the pgn files which I still have to analyse and bumped it up to second place.. If only I had time to start dissecting this (and do it some justice) right now..

Here is what I think of the game.
[Event "Stare Mesto op"]

1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 d5 4. cxd5 exd5 5. Bg5 c6 6. e3 Qb6 7. Bxf6 Qxb2 8.
Qc1 Qxc1+ 9. Rxc1 gxf6 10. Nxd5 Ba3 11. Rc4 Kd8 12. Nf4 b5 13. Rc2 Bf5 14. Bd3

The key position is @ move #11. What is the PLAN, correct course of action, which should be followed? Here is a game, with a different result where white wins it!

Pending verification, the vote appears to be:
4. Nxe4 (10): ketchuplover, planetchess.org, Perseus, Octal, dustinkinney, ryan_c, granturismo4ad, Abba, WJBG, lanced
4. f3 (1): Fromper
It appears overwhelmingly that 4. Nxe4 will be our next move.
Thoughts on making our move without waiting the full voting term?

I think the obvious choice is Nxe4, so I'll add my vote in there (not that it needs it at this point...I think it's pretty clear what our next move will be)

Three points I'd like to make:
- I'm just making it all up as we go along (in case this wasn't completely obvious)
- Not sure what's a 'fair number' to end the vote rightaway. I've been thinking: move/all other moves = 5:1 where move + all other moves > 10. (In which case the vote would be over already. No, this hasn't been implemented as of yet, I was just thinking it over.)
- I'd rather not continuously change this game's parameters around like FIDE does for the world championship candidates..

Good Show!
Though seriously, I think you are doing a "Stand Up" job Perseus.
And BTW, you know that ChessForums Member: TigerLilov is 2400+ FIDE...

The "Fair" Number is what the Majority Agrees Upon.
However, in my personal opinion, unless we are rushed for time, we should further allow discussion about each of our moves - possibilities. I for one, look forward in hearing the discussion. And, what we have right now, is currently - reasonable, and I see no need to change it! Note: feel free to disagree, democracy is the most "reasonable" form of government here.
