I just received word from an IM in Europe that the Global Chess Community has provided the money for GM Popovic's Surgery!

I can't imagine how scared this young man is, though knowing that he has friends around our little rock in space supporting him, must make him feel alot better already.

Great news indeed.

Because he is a friend of friends of mine, I feel ok saying thank you to everyone who helped, even if it was simply in their hearts.
