it seems to me that after the mach against Kramnik Topalov plays suddenly on a
much lower level ,than he played before.
Does anyone understand that?
I think the only way how such an incredible performancedrop(from 2800 to about 2700 or lower) could happen to him is,that he has got some problems with his health.
But maybe there are other things ,which could have an impact on his play?

It's a bit of a mystery. There have been questions as to how he could have got to his incredible 2800 rating in the first place. He bolted up the ladder like crazy before...

but still it is really strange.I cant remember ,that such an incredible performacedrop happened to any other Top-GM .And if it happened ,than it was not so sudden.

Didn't Spassky experience a similar drop after the original Fischer-Spassky 1972 World Championship match?
