Auto sticky posts in Correspondence and Puzzle sections

Hi everyone,

Following a suggestion by Phobetor to have a sticky post system for the Correspondence Games and Chess Puzzles section, I am pleased to announce we have an automatic sticky post setup now running!



In these sections of the forum, you will notice this image appears in the first post to notify viewers its a sticky post, the result is the first post in these threads will appear at the top of every page of the thread.

Thus making it easier to play correspondence games or to solve puzzles when looking a few pages into the thread

Its the members that make any forum Phobetor, that and some one who will listen and react on their suggestions

Some forums haven't found that out yet. Actually, some got it totally wrong! They charge members money to join, instead of paying members to be on the forum!

So if this site ever gets paid, remember who should pay who

I haven't come across a deliberate and direct conceit for many years. Interesting.

Unfortunately, this option seems to be causing me a bug. In the aforementioned sections, I often cannot see the first post of the thread.

At first I assumed it was my browser, though popular, Firefox 2 isn't exactly the most traditional browser around. But since I have this issue on IE7, IE6, IE5.55, IE5.01, IE4.01, and IE3.0, I don't think that's the case.
Following FinFangFoom's quote, I then assumed it was related to my having the threads display in linear-reversed mode. I changed it back to reversed to see if the posts showed up, no luck. When I check it in earlier IEs, I get runtime errors: Microsoft JScript filter.alpha empty or some such.

Mildly annoying at any rate. I would be greatly helped if something could be done to unbug me.
