RSS subscription buttons - Chess Forums

I've added a module for RSS subscriptions into the right hand column. This should make it easy to monitor new posts via your favorite RSS reader (i.e. I watch new threads on many message boards I'm on via my bloglines reader, in this case I've setup a "chess" group and am aggregating a couple feeds there)

This doesn't seem to be working correctly at the moment, only a few posts appear in bloglines via the feed. Most don't appear.

I think the issue is with bloglines, I've been noticing that it varies, sometimes updating quickly, sometimes lagging a long time.

It could be the RSS feed tho, I'll check it out. I'll subscribe via my google reader or thunderbird (or both) and see how they track.

is the idea for it to get all posts? it just gets one or two randomly at the moment. not just lagging. thanks

Oddly enough, today my bloglines seems to be updating fairly quickly, my thunderbird isn't catching the new posts at all, even tho I have it set to check every 5 minutes.

Still looking into this...

i think for me it's just getting the first posts in threads, not the replies
