Chess Forums tournament??

Sounds cool, such a tournament. But if you ever manage to finish this one, I doubt there can be a second with as much or more players as in this tournament... It just takes forever to play these games and it seems to be rather difficult to find a good chess server to play these games on...

Too bad, I'm interested in participating, however I too would find it difficult to play all the games in time.

What about mailing the players though? That sounds a bit more promising since you wont forget to check your mails daily but it seems to be easy to forget about this thread and thus about this tournament.

I like the initiative. As I suspected, it's a bit hard to keep a schedule. Though I do not think it's something 'for me', I hope you will all continue.


Sending e-mails to your opponent could help. How about just using the forum's PM option? In this forum, you can click on a username, then click on 'send private message'. When you receive a new PM you're notified by the forum when you visit.
