Editting PGN Files - Chess Forums

As most chess players know, a chess game can be saved as a pgn file. On my forum there is a chess viewer which works by allowing people to upload their pgn files, and then when they make their post their uploaded game is displayed. The viewer can also be used to display fen positions, ie. any chess position, either with moves or without.

The problem I am having is this. I want people to be able to easily play correspondence games. Unfortunately I know of no program that allows the easy editting of pgn files, which would make playing correspondence chess a breeze.

I was wondering if anyone here might have any ideas - hence the reason I am posting this thread in the ideas forum.

Not sure if the following solves the problem:
Andres Valverde Home Site
ChessTool Pocket 5.1, Download ChessTool Pocket 5.1 and ChessTool Pocket 5.1 Free Download english

The above appear to be Window programs. There could be another program
but the site is in German.

If there are programs go to Version Tracker.

If you have Macintosh users there is SigmaChess.com.
Possibly Jose Chess.

Thanks for these suggestions. I will take a look at each of them and provide feedback on whether one of them turns out to be the silver bullet.

You've probably already found a solution, but for those who have not, ChessPad is very small and efficient.

When I played CCLA/ICCF just about everybody used ec tool from the valverde site. The automatic e-mail function didn’t seem to work with Yahoo (or maybe I didn’t know how to set it up…something about “pops”) so I had to cut and paste into a regular e-mail message, but other than that it kept track of time and the individual tournaments.
