i am looking for chess cafe's and clubs in the net, in moscow. But its hard to find. anybody can help me???

maybe in a threat some informations,locations of chess cafe's can be given for countries. İ think lots of people likes a topic like this.
and also me

There's already a topic for chess parks, but I don't know if cafes were included in it. Can't help you with Moscow - never been there.

I'm thinking of visiting St Petersburgh later in the year, money permitting, so a similar list for there would be welcome. A city-by-city guide would be a pretty useful thing to have access to via the forum, if no such thing already exists elsewhere.

St. Petersburg:
Formerly Stalingrad.
Korchnoi is going back to the home of his birth in 2009. Exactly when I can not confirm.
Where to Play chess:
Very difficult to determine.
The University hold tournaments. Botvinnik either started the first tournament or the Tournament is held in his name.
There is a park in Petersburg that has a "Chess mountain".
In March 2009 a Women's tournament will be held.
Best bet, before you go, contact Russian Chess the website and ask.
