Hi John,

It could be some time away yet, currently looking at options for a completely new setup that will allow leagues and tournaments. I think I have found the script it will be based on, just going to take some time to get it to do exactly whats needed

It will be great if you can have separate leagues. I hope it's free. I won't pay to join.

That would be a great feature I agree, and yes it will be free I don't want to see Chess Forums becoming divided with 'subscription areas'!!

Perhaps initially have one ladder league, and then as we expand have round robins with those that are closely grouped on the ladder? Eventually expanding to both open and class swiss tournaments...

Yes I think to begin with having one league will be the best option, really looking forward to just getting a more stable, and user-friendly chess game environment running on the site! (the existing one was only a testing/temporary measure)
