ChessForums.org UK (.5) vs ChessLeaders Bahrain (.5)
OK, here's the rematch thread.
Before we dive in head first, I will add a few ground rules:
1) Both sides need to try and keep a decent pace to the game. A move a week would be great.
2) No obvious engine analysis. Period.
3) Analysis is great and dandy, but for simplicity's sake, each poster's official vote (if any) should be preceded by something along the lines of "I vote for ..."
Since ChessLeaders was White in the first game, ChessForums.org will be White in the rematch. Good luck to both sides and happy posting!

We have neglected making our next move. Please give us a few more days to get the job done.
Definitely white's move in the ozchess game. I briefly checked the thread over at your site to find gt4ad's post on the matter. A few more days will be fine by the way
I think they took so long because we were smashing them
Now they will need a few more days before voting to resign.
Their game with Canada was the same deal.
Nobody could agree on a move because they were all pretty much losing.
No offense intended.
EDIT: Wrong thread Arrogant-One? This is the UK-Bahrain rematch thread, not the UK-Australia thread.

That way we can probably skip ahead to move 10 and choose between the Polgar approach and the Tal/Vasiukov approach. Black can play some bail out moves before, but that gives white a problem-free Sicilian which makes me wonder why a majority here wanted to play 3. ... cxd4 4. Nxd4 in the first place.
Personally I'm worried about 4.Nc3 cd4 5.Qd4 a6! which looks at least equal for Black.
An exclamation mark even... It's not the way to play chess if you ask me, this is by the normal move order, but it transposes obviously:
1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Qxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 a6 6. Bg5 Nc6 7. Qd2 e6 8. 0-0-0, where is black's equality? With correct play, black gets a reasonable game, white gets an edge.
Years ago, people would try this funky thing against me:
1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 d6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Qxd4 a6 5. Bg5 Nc6 6. Qd2 h6 7. Be3 Nf6 8. Nc3 e6 9. Bd3 Be7 10. 0-0 and they'd go 'Aha! Black equalizes with Ng4-Nxe3' etc. First, it's never that easy. Second, white's bit of edge is annoyingly persistent in the 6. Qd3 lines there.

I disagree; after 8...h6 9.Bh4 Bd7 10.Kb1 b5 Black has full equality. White would like to play Nd4 and f4, but this is rather time-consuming, and otherwise White lacks a clear long-term plan.
