ChessForums.org UK (.5) vs ChessLeaders Bahrain (.5)
OK, here's the rematch thread.
Before we dive in head first, I will add a few ground rules:
1) Both sides need to try and keep a decent pace to the game. A move a week would be great.
2) No obvious engine analysis. Period.
3) Analysis is great and dandy, but for simplicity's sake, each poster's official vote (if any) should be preceded by something along the lines of "I vote for ..."
Since ChessLeaders was White in the first game, ChessForums.org will be White in the rematch. Good luck to both sides and happy posting!

ChessLeaders are in deadlock over 3. ...cxd4 or 3. ...Nf6.

I'm a patient person but we can pretty much skip to move 6 for Black regardless of ...Nf6 or ...cxd4, can't we?
Ideally, yes.
Realistically, no.

Reason: Too many smilies?
I think it's obvious by now they've never seen this position before. They're probably delving into their theory books on the very obscure and possibly unsound 3. d4.
Seriously though, how much time have they had so far?

It's been five days, three pages of premoving/discussion, and two votes on their site. One for 3. ...Nf6, and one for 3. ...cxd4.

Check out the time between post #157 and post #172. Almost four months.
