Currently at 2 votes each for 2.c4 and 2.Nf3.
Personally I wouldn't recommend the Colle-Zukertort, since our opponents will be able to consult the theoretical works on this line and equalise. I would rather play the main lines, then secure an advantage out of the opening which we can use to put pressure on Black's position at an early stage.

As a KID player myself, I have several interesting and tricky lines against it, so I'd recommend we head that direction with the e4-d4-c4-Nc3-Nf3-Be2 setup.

Since there's been no new votes in three days, I'll switch my vote do c4, since my Colle-Zukertort suggestion was shot down.
Votes: c4 - 3
Nf3 - 1

After 2.c4, do you want to meet 2...e6/2...g6 with 3.Nc3, 3.Nf3 or 3.g3? After 2...c5, we can either play 3.d5 or surprise them by switching to a Symmetrical English with 3.Nf3. I have an idea in the Symmetrical that they probably haven't seen before, but the chances are that they will deviate from it.

My plan is to meet
- 2...e6 with 3 Nf3 to head into a Catalan/Queen's Indian position.
- 2...g6 with 3 Nc3 to head into a KID/Gruenfeld position.
- 2...c5 with 3 Nf3 to head into that Symmetrical English position.

I agree entirely with these suggestions.
What do you have in mind against the Queen's Indian? I was thinking that either the Petrosian system (4.a3 Bb7 5.Nc3) or the 21st Century Gambit (4.g3 Ba6 5.Qc2 Bb7 6.Bg2 c5 7.d5!) would be the most appropriate choices.

Of course, after 2. ...e6 3. Nf3 Bb5+, 4. Bd2 is preferred over Nc3, Nfd2 or Nbd2, correct?

I usually play the quieter 5.Qa4 line, but I do think that gambit is pretty strong. I just don't know the theory on it. There was a VERY pretty win for white in a rapid game in the Amber tournament. It included a small novelty, so if we go that direction, I'll track down the game and post it as a reference.
