Some early-d4 Ruy would be nice.

You mean d5, right?
My vote is for c5. A Dragon Sicilian sounds kinda fun right about now.

Woops, no I didn't. For a black Ruy I'd stick with my Modern Steinitz (which no doubt would get voted down regardless), for white in the Ruy Lopez I'm much more open to different lines.

Isn't it unfair to read what your opponents are thinking?

Not my call, Arrogant1 will post the confirmed moves as they come along as far as I know.
As for our independent votes, no.

I'll vote for 1.e4 - wouldn't mind a sharp attacking game.

We're black in this game. It looks like 1...c5 is winning.

I vote for 1...c5. If White plays 2.Nf3, then I recommend either 2...Nc6 or 2...e6, although I wouldn't be surprised if the other side plays an Anti-Sicilian.

I see. I didn't know A1 didn't have the time, makes sense though (I remember doing it all myself not too long ago though). In which case, anyone willing and able to do the honours, talk to A1.
Sorry, but my hours are extremely irregular and many at this point. I've been lucky so far to have any time at all this month to leave a few brief posts.
