Want a Correspondence Experience? Anyone? (dustinkinney vs. Sweeper)
Warning: I play (practice) against Fritz-11 in my spare-time; however this is no indication of my gameplay...... (I am far worse), but I will do my best!
Note: In this thread, you are not playing against a machine, but me..... (i will also try to explain my moves, kibitz against myself, and looking forward to analysis later). Good Luck!
I will take white.
1. c4 (Opens-up safe lines for my queen, there is nothing bad about this move)

1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7; 10. 0-0, b6; 11. Bxc6, Rad8; 12. b4, Bxb4; 13. axb4, Qe6; 14. Bg2, Qxc4(Starts chipping away at those pesky queen side pawns and discovers a few sacrificial attacks, but I'm not about ready to lose the Queen just yet. )
The Black Team looks at it's options and sees a few, but most don't end to well, the Queen decides to try a sniping attack on White's C pawn. 'Hmm.... This may have potential', thinks the Queen as observes her new position. She smiles and waves at the opposing troops.

1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7; 10. 0-0, b6; 11. Bxc6, Rad8; 12. b4, Bxb4; 13. axb4, Qe6; 14. Bg2, Qxc4; 15. Rxa7 (I don't see anything better, and my Rook is anxious for action. Eventhough, if you decide to take my b4 pawn, this will give you a passed pawn on your queenside, my forces can eventually take care of it, I feel.)
EDIT: TYPO I entered in Rxa2, my intent was Rxa7 (there is no piece on a2 to take!, but a7 is an obvious capture)

Choices! And not all of them good. Hmm....
1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7; 10. 0-0, b6; 11. Bxc6, Rad8; 12. b4, Bxb4; 13. axb4, Qe6; 14. Bg2, Qxc4; 15. Rxa7, c5; (Saw several possibilities, and I liked this one best.)
With a Rook in the back ranks, it was a sure bet that some of Black's pieces would be lost. The King looks at the field, and sees a lone White Pawn sitting next to his Queen, it would be a sure thing to kill it with her awesome capabilities, but that might be a mistake with that Rook in the rear AO. The King comes to a decision, "C Pawn, advance!" The C Pawn Double-times forward to give threat to White's B Pawn, taking it out of the Rook's line of fire. 'Now we shall see what the foe does next...'

1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7; 10. 0-0, b6; 11. Bxc6, Rad8; 12. b4, Bxb4; 13. axb4, Qe6; 14. Bg2, Qxc4; 15. Rxa7, c5; 16. bxc5 (if you take with your B-pawn, then you no longer have a potiental passed pawn on your B-File. So, i don't predict that you won't go with this option. Instead, If, on the other-hand, you take with your D-pawn, it opens up your Rook. (which is what i think you are trying to do here.) However, after that happens, it then leaves your e5 pawn weak and isolated, which I can then attack with f4 (and then i have several good options, depending on what you do from there.) )
My Pawn, while, expecting to be lost, anyway, almost ready to throw-up his arms in defeat and surrender to the Black Queen, sees another option, or opportunity, not like his c4 pawn pal which got eaten alive without any compensation, my b4 pawn decides that if lost, that he is going to take out someone (anyone out with him) first. So, he quickily pounces upon that idea, without 2nd thought and (with Courage), Kamakazies himself (what he feels, that he knows is going to happen to him here.)

Alas, no story for the brave B Pawn. as I can't think of anything heroic tonight.
I just got stomped in a 21 move game on BabasChess. That's fine, but my opponent didn't want to speak to me after the game. Some people....
