Want a Correspondence Experience? Anyone? (dustinkinney vs. Sweeper)
Warning: I play (practice) against Fritz-11 in my spare-time; however this is no indication of my gameplay...... (I am far worse), but I will do my best!
Note: In this thread, you are not playing against a machine, but me..... (i will also try to explain my moves, kibitz against myself, and looking forward to analysis later). Good Luck!
I will take white.
1. c4 (Opens-up safe lines for my queen, there is nothing bad about this move)

Hmm....
1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7;(Moves Queen into a better position, perhaps? And allows the Rooks to meet.)
Her Royal and Powerful Majesty, The Queen! takes her first move. Where shall she move? Shall she move to the King's Side and wreak havoc? Shall she move Queenside be threatening? Or shall become a Black Widow and move to the center and pounce on pieces that come into her web?

*Yawn* Making this move at 0600 MST
1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7; 10. 0-0 , b6; (not quite sure what that move can do for me, but I have some ideas... )
Cadence:
"In the early mornin' rain! In the early mornin' rain. In the early mornin' ra-hay-hay-hay-ain! This Soldier is cold and full of pain. My recruiter said to me, Be what you want to be!"
The cadence goes through the head of the Dark Bishop's Pawn as he moves out, thinking not nice thoughts about his chain of command in general as he receives orders to move out on the Queen's side.

Bxc6 (Did you just Blunder, or am I too Greedy and overlook something?! I am taking advantadge of what appears to be a now unprotected piece!, although, I am sure that b4 would also win me a piece too, this way does it in 1 move, and without any consequence)

That was a bad move on my part. Gotta get the Rook out of harm's way and see what there is to do...

Will he trade it for a pawn? Or, does he see something better? That is the question. Honestly, I feel, on top of the world now, I hope, my over confidence doesn't lead to defeat..... remember, to look at the many possibilities worth considering, dustin. - speaking to myself)

"Crap, crap, crap!" Says the Dark Bishop, "What a sad state of events, and what were you thinking?!" He looks a the pawn on b6.
"Sorry sir, but those were the orders I got from the top. To be fair, I don't think they expected this."
The Dark Bishop sighs and rushes the offending White pawn, "If I'm to die, I'm taking you with me!"

(Had to reinstall CMX as it was acting weird. Think I need to consider a simpler PGN reader)
Ok, I'm back. Let's see...
1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7; 10. 0-0 , b6; 11. Bxc6, Rad8; 12. b4, Bxb4; 13. axb4, Qe6; (One of the 'many' things I need to practice is the art of recovery. Which is ironic as we're practicing falls in Martial Arts class right now. )
'Why do we fall? It's so we can learn to pick ourselves up.' Those words from Batman Begins echo through the Queen's mind as she watches the Dark Bishop kamikaze himself for a pawn. "Well, this is not good," she says, "what can I do get back in the game?" She looks around the field and sees that moving forward will open up some diagonals for her side to take. She tries to picture what the results will of that move, but finds that she can't see that far ahead. "Dang..."

1. c4, e5; 2. Nc3, Bc5; 3. e3, Nf6; 4. a3, O-O; 5. Nge2, d6; 6. g3, Nc6; 7. Bg2, Bg4; 8. h3, Bxe2; 9. Nxe2, Qe7; 10. 0-0, b6; 11. Bxc6, Rad8; 12. b4, Bxb4; 13. axb4, Qe6; 14. Bg2 (Nice, recovery move..... My choices which I seriously considered were: Rxa2, or defending c4, or defending h3; I honestly didn't like the mate threat after Qxh3 followed by Ng4, So, I had to either move my King or Bishop, to protect against that, and I chose my Bishop because my Bishop would be attacked from Qxc4 and be forced to move, so, my Bishop has to double-back and retreat! (Regretablly). However, Rxa2, may still be an option in the future because I don't see a good defense against it (so that move can wait). Uh Oh! The Black Queen may have gotten something (someone) in the near future! A Pawn, on c4, I predict...... This Lady has teeth, so, everyone gear up) Bye, bye, pawnnie (looking scared)........
