Default Newbie looking for a challenge (Devotion - Granturismo4ad)
I am a new member who is open to a challenge. I do not have any rating whatsoever, but if someone wants to play white, I'm game! You may reply with your first move (since you're white)

In the final position, White seems much better after 9.dc5 Bc5 10.Nd5.

Agreed, and good point. In retrospect, 8. ...a6 is better for Black, as White is forced to trade the bishop ( 9. Ba4? b5 10. Bb3 c4! and the bishop is trapped). And after the continuation 9. Bxc6 Bxc6 (9. ...bxc6 gives Black a bad bishop and an isolated a-pawn.), and Black keeps his d-pawn and an even game.
