OK, Perseus. I have an idea. How about we let anyone who wants to post a Proposed move do so? So if they think they have a good move, they can post it here for debate?
Sound good?

Okay. You missed your bishop in your diagram. The French is never an easy win really.
Had a very very long think on this, I was considering 8. dxc5, which I've played before with decent results, I'll toss out something different now: 1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. e5 Ne7 5. Bd2 c5 6. Nb5 Bxd2 7. Qxd2 0-0 8. f4

(Thanks for the correction.)
Of course, I was hoping that you would play dc. f4 leads to a better game for White I think.
1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. e5 Ne7 5. Bd2 c5 6. Nb5 Bxd2 7. Qxd2 0-0 8. f4 a6

My analysis is inconclusive either way, but 8. dxc5 is very interesting, it has a lot of potential.

Had to crunch on that one, this is a novelty, for me that is. Never played it before though it may end up transposing into something I have played before. Actually I considered 4 moves, two of which I've tried before, but I'm going with a new one. Let's be thematic!
1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. e5 Ne7 5. Bd2 c5 6. Nb5 Bxd2 7. Qxd2 0-0 8. f4 a6 9. Nd6 cxd4 10. 0-0-0

Thematic indeed. And double-edged .

Some further checking (pardon the pun) proved this to be a slight improvement over 2 other moves I was considering at move 10.
Time for the bishop to come out:
1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. e5 Ne7 5. Bd2 c5 6. Nb5 Bxd2 7. Qxd2 0-0 8. f4 a6 9. Nd6 cxd4 10. 0-0-0 Nbc6 11. Bd3

11. Bd3 is the "Crossroads Move". I shall need to consider this position quite carefully.
