Not my main choice anymore (2. Nf3 is that) but let's have fun.

'fraid not. In correspondence I only ever play what is at present in my main reportoire and what I've had in my reportoire before. The 'Drunken King' doesn't fall in that category as it falls in the douchebag/junk category in my opinion; not to make little of it, I've played worse lines like the Muzio in the KG but I believed I could make those work .

Hm I rather like the Nimzowitsch's line in the Falkbeer. When in doubt the Declined is absolutely fine, though I always liked playing against it
1. e4 e5 2. f4 Bc5 3. Nf3
If 3. ... d6 4. c3

actually i'd rather not try d6 as it often leads to white being to much in control of the center, i want to try a gambit (not really) of sorts instead, don't know if it's a named variation
1. e4 e5 2. f4 Bc5 3. Nf3 d5
- edit again i love the Falkbeer but i find that the bishop at c5 is much more effective then simply going d5 right away.

As far as I know, it's one of those not-best, maybe okay, untested lines.
Now, against the Falkbeer I think I would have gone for Tartakower's line, 3. Nf3 dxe4 4. Nxe5.
In the declined however (2. ... Bc5 3. Nf3 d6 4. c3 is the Classical actually) with d5 thrown in I'll not go for exd5 which most would play automatically.
1. e4 e5 2. f4 Bc5 3. Nf3 d5 4. Nxe5
This should at any rate be more of a test to your move order than exd5.
