Hello, I am a chess master with a rating of 2452. I will be posting some intresting games I played, for instructional purposes to help beginners and perhaps even advanced players. I will try to post good advice if asked for. But be sure you define the type of advice you want. All I ask for in return is that you can give me advice such a as new modern openings. Or anything that is not known by many people, so that anyone who reads this thread may improve our games.

Bxg5 is better. Although Nxg5 is playable too, each has its own advantage. I dont think it matters because white has a clear advantage and either way white should come out on top. Btw keeping the bishop might provide more mobility later. The kight provides immediate help for the current position but chess is hardly a game of atm thinking the endgame is what players need to prepare for, a good endgame = a good win. There is no wrong answer both are playable.

And Octal 13. ... Nxg3? I like your input but remember that was my first game so there are some flaws lol. Im going to go through my boxes and find my games so I can post them on here I just dont have the time at the moment. I will probaly post another game in 1 or 2 days. Btw I like how you guys are contributing to this thread.

The following master game shows just how important it is to study the opening because without good opening play there is no endgame at all. The open. Its very embarrassing to be defeated in less than 20 moves. The longer the game is the more even the oppentents are I will put several games on this thread stressing that point.

If my opponent had taken the time to study the openings, He would have had a good game, I know this because my opponent is known for a good middle and endgame but he slacks off on studying the opening. This game proves the need for a good opening repertoire, because the opening decides many aspects and properties of the game. My advice is hire a chess trainer its worth it, if you dont have the correct advice and training you may never advance past intermediate or even the beginners level.

My opponent resigns after only 12 moves.

I started a correspondence game with the thread name high level game against whoever plays. I will be posting the game in here when its finished but if anyone wants to check it out now plz do.

Here is one of 6 games that is not only historic and instructional but also inspiration. Polgar is a female grandmaster who worked hard for a chance to demonstrate that females also have a place in chess against males such as Karpov. The game I will post is a one from a tournament between Polgar vs Karpov. I will be posting a rapid game 25 +5 in which the result is 1/2 1/2. I suggest advanced players and players who are serious about chess research Polgar and her games. ps. I know how chess masters such as myself and even others say the endgame is the most important to study but try to spend some time looking at some traps ( will post one after this game.) comments about this game and the trap that will proceed are highly wanted.

Now here is an intresting trap, you would not believe how often this works.
dont try it if you are playing a serious game because it could lead to problems.

Either way it's rated at GM status, but it isn't perfect, and it won't have "preferences". Maybe it takes with the N first because the bishop can exert some pressure on the e pawn? Maybe it figures since black has a black bishop, it wants one too. Who knows, there must be a reason, but it might not make much sense in the grand scheme of things.

BTW, fastcheckmate, are you an American? Just wondering.
