Hi,

Does anyone know how to make a new 2D set in Chessmaster or Fritz? I think the "Alpha" set, which I've seen in several places on the Web, is an excellent compromise between traditional lines and cartoon-like cuteness.

I know at least from the Chessmaster GM Edition forums that it is possible to make new 2D sets for that game. (I've also asked over there). I don't know about Fritz.

I don't know, I have no experience doing this kind of thing for Fritz. I've done it for CM in the past though, a bit of a time-consuming process that was, but doable. Fritz I'm sure uses a different method for storing its chess sets.

Since I don't have either at this time, I can't help. Took a quick look on Google, but no help there either.
