Hmm strange. Still, I don't think it was as weak as for instance my laptop and my friend's. It would explain some of the weaker moves in the match.
Otherwise, I couldn't have defeated it otherwise, even though they were quick games like you said. If you take your average chess engine, let it run on a weak laptop, give it about 10 mins of playing time and it'll go through the opening/early middle game too quickly, giving away bits of advantages as it goes along, then squeeze out a win by trading off and technically correct (and fast) play.
I don't think that gets me on par with GM Christiansen's performance especially since I'm on like a 1:17 win:loss ratio against CM :S
