Actually, the Free Chess Club at PC allows you to download the PGN. (Portable Game Notation) of your games either during the game or after, and it saves your finished games to your free account on the server, so you can pull up a game a year from now, for example.
Also, the games are off the clock, some players like to move once a day, in the evenings we have a small group that plays maybe 2 or 3 games in an evening.
You are of course welcome to join, no software to download. Though if you'd like to view your downloaded games you will need a PGN reader, Winboard, or, We use DGT Chess Theatre, each are free to download and use. Plus there are other free PGN programs out there. Maybe Google?
