Although I am not a professional puzzle creator, I strive to create puzzles as good as possible, having fun or amazement in mind [see the rest of the Homemade series for insights: e.g.
Queen dance puzzle has a King move as key;
{Stale}Mate is even nicer ]. For this particular puzzle, I couldn't make the idea work with less pawns, although I tried hard to get rid of several pawns. [As for the rest of the pieces, including Kings, they definitely have a purpose each]. However, it may be possible to improve the puzzle, and hopefully discussions in this forum will help me in that endevour.
