these got progressively easier it took me about seven minuits to solve for mate in one about 3 for mate in two and 1 for mate in three. nice mate in one it killed me!

I dont aggree with the solution you gave for the second puzzle. 1. Qd7 Nb4 2. Qa7, 1. Qd7 Nf4 2. Bf4 sorry the spoil button dosn't seem to work.

But I have not given any solutions....
On 1.Qd7? where's the mate after 1....Kxe3 ?

No lanced, the correct solution is mine, i checked it with Fritz to control if it was exact. Trust in me.

mimrp: I was talking about cicciosacchi's solutions not yours, I know that you did not post any and I remember reading that you would put the solutions up later.

ok I looked at it hard, and yes you are right. My second try was 1. Qg3 but until now I had missed 1._Nf4. This isn't the first time I missed a mate in two twice.

I think the "mate in 2" puzzles are the most difficult, 'cause you have to consider ANY POSSIBLE move, even if the move is absurd, illogic.
