In my experience both the QGD and QGA aren't more agressive than the Slav, though I think the QGA has a little less theory. The Slav is solid and reliable but a bit 'sitting there' kind of passive. The QGD isn't much better, though I always found the Tarrasch simple and open enough for my needs.
You could go for the Modern Benoni, if you like agressive, but that's quite theoretical and hard to grasp. If you don't mind playing something less solid and sound than the Slav, the Dutch isn't such a bad choice.
