Catching a Chicken unawares is cool... I done it a few times myself. You have to learn though that Chickens are Smart Critters & the chance of doing them in again is usually nil. JMHO
There are many "Foxy Openings" DVDs and I haven't seen any that involve traps oranything like that. They cover your standard openings. (sicilian, french, ruy lopez, ect.)
Um I think Jeremy Silman is on of the best chess writers, he's wrote stuff like: How to Reasses You'r Chess (Tournament Players), and The Ametures Mind (great for players of all streangths). He is definitely on of the most entertaning and best chess teachers i have read and I would say that anything that bears his stamp is worth a look. I would like to see the video even if he wouldn't play the opening, besides I looked at the article and at the top it says "by some one that isn't silman", im sure there are a lot of articles that he dosen't think are the best on his site and he supports a wide range of opions (or is too busy to ever go on_any other Ideas?). Actually the name Foxy videos sounded dumb to me but when I learned of this "questionable narrator" it sounded very interisting. If silman is really PERSONALLY explaining the moves with a demonstration board (I may misunderstand what is going on) I'd say that the video would be a really cool watch. yeah like that.
Fromper's links were to a DVD and an article by Andrew Martin, not Jeremy Silman.
O have some Andrew Martin's DVDs that i got from Chessbase and they are pretty cool I also have the Power Play serier from Daniel King in DVD (also from Chessbase) and they were excellent. I don't know about this foxy opening series, but if it has the same level that the chessbase opening series they are very good material
