In the U.S. the book was printed in the 1970's by Dover in descriptive notation. (The Dover company today is not the same company).
The comments on the back cover of the Dover edition indicated that the young Alekhine learned Chess from Lasker's comments.

"After Chigorin's death, the club decided to organise a memorial Tournament". Rubinstein and Lasker tied for first. Each won 875 rubles.
Rubinstein probably was indicated as the winner as he beat Lasker and the players who finished 2,3, & 4 behind him.
Alekhine as a schoolboy won the All-Russian Tournament.
He won a vase.
"Lasker wrote the tournament book. His claim ‘This is a book in which analysis is accurate’ can be easily refuted with the modern means".
The new book 2008 printed by Russell:
"This is the official tournament book – available for the first time in English in algebraic notation – written by Emanuel Lasker. He annotated all 175 games in the clear, instructive style that would become his trademark."
