Well, to me, it appears as though your opponent was trying to lose. Regretablly. Perhaps, he felt that his rating was too high, and wanted to get it lower before he went on to "sandbag" someone.
Also, I don't think you could have been more "efficient" considering how badly your opponent played. Especially, after he dropped his queen. The only thing I saw, which you could improve was Qxh4. Instead, he simply fell into your trap, attacked your queen with his knight, and got checkmated.
Note: while I have a different opinion / feeling of the opening than you do, and I would have made "different moves"..... because of my "style"; what you played worked. And any improvement which you could have made would be marginal in this game. Needless to say, your opponent sucked, at this game, he played. I think you played it well enough, in this case. Not much to be noted here.
