im fairly new to chess and this is prob the best game i have ever played. the site i was playin on (im new so i dont wanna post the name just incase thats against the rules) im rated 1400 and he was 1580 and this is how the game went down i was black

1.e4 e5 2.Bd3 Nc6 3.Nf3 Nf6 4.O-O Bc5 5.Nh4 O-O 6.c4 d6 7.Qh5 Nxh5 8.a4 Nf4 9.Bc2 Qg5 10.Nf3 Qxg2# 0-1


tell me what you think and if i could have been more efficient

Well, to me, it appears as though your opponent was trying to lose. Regretablly. Perhaps, he felt that his rating was too high, and wanted to get it lower before he went on to "sandbag" someone.

Also, I don't think you could have been more "efficient" considering how badly your opponent played. Especially, after he dropped his queen. The only thing I saw, which you could improve was Qxh4. Instead, he simply fell into your trap, attacked your queen with his knight, and got checkmated.

Note: while I have a different opinion / feeling of the opening than you do, and I would have made "different moves"..... because of my "style"; what you played worked. And any improvement which you could have made would be marginal in this game. Needless to say, your opponent sucked, at this game, he played. I think you played it well enough, in this case. Not much to be noted here.

it was a 2 min game so i think thats why he made some mistake

2. Bd3 is a mistake as your opponent blocked his d pawn from development. (Which affects all other development.)
3. ..Nf6 was a good developing move on your part.
After 5. Nh4, you had a Tactical shot winning a pawn here, with Nxe4, BxN, QxN (at h4)
6. .. d6 was a good move on your part, opening the diagonal for the Bishop.

All in all, you played better than your opponent.
