best book on queen's gambit accepted - Chess Forums

Hello all ,

Like lots of players , I have trouble playing against 1.d4 and have decided to give the QGA a try .

Does anyone recommend any books on this opening ?

For books there are many.
But watch out. Memorizing openings does not win chess games.

I've read a few reviews and a lot of books look similar.

I dont want to memorize the lines but to learn the ideas behind them...

Hi,
I think you'll find this is a very good book. I don't play the QGA but have a friend who swears by it. I have borrowed it for the lines where white doesn't play 2.c4 for which it is excellent. Good luck !

I have Rizzitano book for 2 years and I can say it's superb! Gives the whole black repertoire against 1.d4. Wholeheartedly recommended!

His books are very accessible and useful. Your game can only improve if you go through his books.
