I know FIDE requires a 2300 rating for an FM title, so you've still got some work to get there, but it sounds like you're improving steadily, so at least you're headed in the right direction.

The KNSB stands for Koninklijke Nederlandse Schaakbond, or Royal Dutch Chess Federation. So it's in the Netherlands.
Here they don't have NM titles. The official requirements for NM are 2300 KNSB, but since the KNSB is average 100 points less than FIDE rating (except for me), everyone gets FM before they get 2300 national.
I know that in the US, it's the other way around. FIDE is usually 100 points below the USCF. 2200 USCF only means about 2100 FIDE. But since all Americans play eachother, their ratings stay inflated.
You especially notice the difference when you go abroad. Alot of dutch players who go abroad to play in France get FIDE performances of 200 above their usual performances in the Netherlands. There's still a big gap between federations.
