Essentially you can develop your chess and mathematical/calculation intelligence through regular effort. Many players limit themselves by playing the same openings over and over again which means they cannot learn from their mistakes.

There's little wrong with playing the same openings over and over, as long as they're rich and allow you to grow with it and also important it should have a bunch of different lines to go into. Once you get tired of one, or need a change, or the line is somewhat discredited, or whatever, you can go to a different line and continue to play the opening.
Now for me the possibilities are numerous in my openings

Exploring different openings is a good thing of course. Just don't keep switching every week
