Mastering the moves of the chess pieces is only a small part of the game. Children as young as five have the cognitive development, the eye-hand coordination and the dexterity to be able to move the six different pieces around the chess board properly. However, becoming skilled at the strategies for winning at chess requires a great deal more.
Certainly, the first capabilities tested are the abilities to concentrate and analyze. Any lapse in concentration or failure to correctly analyze the situation on the chess board will most likely result in a loss. All chess players experience losses, even the grandmasters of the game, so players also learn the consequences of their decisions, and to win and lose gracefully.

As you may have guessed i am doing this for SEO purposes (dont get me wrong i still want to be part of the community). But personally i did'nt think it would be frowned upon, as i am adding good content to the forum ie.. articles and information. The reason for me putting it in the post and not the signiture is a simple one, it is not seperated in the HTML code to my keywords. However if this is a problem, i will rectify this and add a signiture. Oh also the other point is that i dont always want a link for every post i make.
Please respond with your thoughts.

First off, the articles definitely are appreciated. While I understand your motives and your 'advertising' is far less disruptive than some of what I've seen in the past, the line must be drawn somewhere. I think the rule for 'no ads' is a good one. Mind you, if the discussion is about chess sets and the linked content is directly relevant, a link is fine.

I wouldn't call it a problem, but I placed the rules to keep the place tidy, or as tidy as I can. I don't understand what the drawbacks are of putting it into your signature; I know google will find text I put in my signature. But it's not my area of expertise I'm afraid.
As to not wanting to include your signature every post you make, for that there is a solution. When posting (not meaning the fast reply option) there is a whole set of options. Under 'miscellaneous options' there is a checkbox with "Show your signature". I think unchecking that would exclude your signature from your post.

I understand and do not want to demean the rules of the forum. I also appreciate the fact that you will allow me to post the link if it is relative. Thank you for the advice on removing my signature from the post should have looked further guess.
Anyway thanks again for the speedy response and as I said I shall keep within the guidelines and rules.
