The reason for me putting it in the post and not the signiture is a simple one, it is not seperated in the HTML code to my keywords. However if this is a problem, i will rectify this and add a signiture. Oh also the other point is that i dont always want a link for every post i make.
Please respond with your thoughts.

First off, the articles definitely
are appreciated. While I understand your motives and your 'advertising' is far less disruptive than some of what I've seen in the past, the line must be drawn somewhere. I think the rule for 'no ads' is a good one. Mind you, if the discussion is about chess sets and the linked content is directly relevant, a link is fine.
I wouldn't call it a problem, but I placed the rules to keep the place tidy, or as tidy as I can. I don't understand what the drawbacks are of putting it into your signature; I know google
will find text I put in my signature. But it's not my area of expertise I'm afraid.
As to not wanting to include your signature every post you make, for that there is a solution. When posting (not meaning the fast reply option) there is a whole set of options. Under 'miscellaneous options' there is a checkbox with "Show your signature". I think unchecking that would exclude your signature from your post.
