Hello Chess Players,
I'm Alton and I would like to know if there is a market for custom made chess pieces.
I am a machinist and make custom cue Joint Protectors.
I thought some of my designs would make a nice chess set based on one of my designs or themes. Different from the traditional chess pieces.
Photo is one of many styles of custom caps I make. Chess pieces would be
a variation based on a style or theme, the pawns being smaller and simpler
getting more detailed on each piece having the King the nicesest of them all.
Tell me your thoughts Chess Forum members.

They do look a bit odd i must say it owuld take a while getting used to them though i suppose but that's probably a bad thing.
