Here is a game my 12yr old son played at the club last week.His opponent opened with 1.g3!?
I cannot remember the name of this opening but my son played sensible chess and won the game. I liked it and I hope you will too!

I think this illustrates when you are faced by openings you don't know just play principled chess moves and you should be OK! However I shall have to have a sneek look at 1.g3 games for interest sake......Any thoughts on 1.g3 (other than don't play it! -LOL!)?
