But even if you assume that the puzzle is right and assume that if you know all others are wrong, then this must be right, then still you haven't proved your solution to be correct. You haven't proven that all other moves don't mate.

I don't have to! The author of the problem does not tell us to prove that ONLY one move mates in 2 for white.
It tells us to show there is one (at least) mate in 2 for white. I have shown one. It's enough. Problem solved.
