Many of us use MS Word or Office.
However there are other Word Products. Some way lower than the cost of
MS Word, Office, or Apple Works 6 (No longer supported) or Apple's Pages.
Apple's Page seem to come out with a new version ever since its inception.

White Smoke is a product which has different versions.
For all OS, Windows, Mac, and Linux.
The new product does cost. Sometime White Smoke offers free products with the purchase of the more expensive software.
Software available: General Writing, Business Writing, Creative Writing,
Bio-Med version, Hi-Tech, Executive writing (The most expensive), A 20 language dictionary, and video tutorials.

NOTE ALSO: Macintosh users, Mac Software especially IWORKS have a code. There could be problems by buying IWORKS on ebay.
Older IWORKS 08 and earlier had a registration code. However, 09 does not have a code. Insert the disk and it works. But if you use a trial version you have to enter a code after the trial period. Also copied software could have a validity problem. There are plenty of free word processing products available on the net.
Recommendation: After downloading a free product, test the product, and print a page.
